Ben Forta is Adobe Inc.'s Director of Platform Evangelism, and has over two decades of experience in the computer industry in product development, support, training, and marketing. Ben is the author of the best-selling ColdFusion Web Application Construction Kit series, as well as multiple books on SQL, Regular Expressions, Java Server Pages, WAP, Windows development, and more. Over 1/2 million Ben Forta books have been printed in English, and titles have been translated into fifteen languages. Ben co-authored the official ColdFusion training material as well as the certification tests and study guides for those tests, writes regular columns on Internet application development, and now spends a considerable amount of time lecturing and speaking on application development worldwide.

Dr. Girish Prabhu, is director for UBD Innovation at the labs.Prior to this, he was the Chief of UX and Innovation staff and Delivery for Asia at Human Factors International. Girish has 20 years of experience in user, business, design (UBD) innovation, new product & business development, and product internationalization & localization. He has held various management positions in new business development, research, and product commercialization at Eastman Kodak, HP,and Intel and was instrumental in implementing user-centered design and innovation processes in multiple product areas. He has the unique experience of taking three new ideas from early conceptualization to a full fledged new business. He has published referred papers in international journals, holds 14 U.S. patents and is an invited speaker at both national and international conferences. He is a member of PDMA, ISPIM and ACM-SIGCHI. He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Industrial Engineering (Human Factors) from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Engineering, Mysore. He is interested in innovating for emerging markets and product & service localization.

In his 19+ years of industry experience, he has led R&D initiatives for leading software companies. Passionate about education, he has been working with several universities and colleges in several initiatives like pedagogic techniques, curriculum revamp and faculty development.
